How to shutdown windows 8 just with one click

1. From your desktop, right click anywhere and from the menu go to “New” and then “Shortcut”
2. A new window will be opened and type “shutdown /s /t 0” in the location field.
3. Name the shortcut e.g. you can name it “Shutdown”. And now press finish. A new icon on desktop will be created. All you have to do is just double-click that icon and your computer will be shutdown.
4. Change icon (Optional step): You can also change the icon as the default shortcut icon is not so pretty. For that you’ve to go into properties of that shortcut and then in “Shortcut” tab click/tap “Change Icon”. Choose any icon and press “Ok”.
