Method 1 of 2: Software/Hard drive
1-Clean out all the junk left behind by browsers.
2- Search and destroy spyware and/or viruses on your PC.
3- Defragment your hard drive monthly to keep your computer running

it is stored.
3- Be careful when plugging in USB, Ethernet, speakers, printer etc.
4- Underclock your CPU for the ultimate in longevity.
